FAQ

What are Eyelash Extensions?

Eyelash extensions are any number of enhancements designed to add length, thickness and fullness to natural eyelashes.

How Long Does it Take to Apply?

In the process of eyelash extension application, each lash is individually adhered to a single natural lash using semi-permanent glue. For a full set of lashes, this process will generally take around two hours. During this time you will need to keep your eyes completely closed to ensure correct application and safety.

Are Extensions Bad for Your Natural Lashes?

It’s a common misconception that eyelash extensions damage your natural lashes. If the extensions are applied correctly and not pulled out, they will not damage your lashes or your eyes

How long will my new lashes last?

Your new lashes will last between 3 to 6 weeks depending on your skincare routine and your own natural lash life cycle. To maintain the full look of your lashes, it will require you to maintain refills every 2-3 weeks.

Can I apply mascara to Eyelash Extensions?

Our eyelash extensions are designed to give your natural lashes an improved look of fullness so mascara is not needed. Mascara can also cause bad retention and close volume fans.

Can I swim, shower, exercise, or visit a spa while wearing eyelash extensions?

We do ask you to minimize the chance of wetting the extensions for the first 24 hours of wear. After that 24-hour period, the adhesive used to apply your eyelash extensions is secure enough to allow you to get right back to your routine. However, keeping away from extensive contact with steam such as in saunas or certain facials is recommended since it can begin to loosen the bond.

LASH LIFT - Q&A

WHAT IS A LASH LIFT?
The lash lift procedure has revolutionized old, inadequate perming techniques. Using silicone pads instead of perming rods, this new technique can lift, straighten or curl, and lengthen your own natural lashes to create a brighter, fuller, wide eyed look. No need for extensions and the associated aftercare, this will last you 6-8 weeks.

HOW DO I NEED TO PREPARE FOR THE TREATMENT?
Please come in make up free (no eye makeup or mascara). If you wear contacts, they must be removed.

DOES THE LASH LIFT PROCEDURE HURT?
No the procedure is totally painless. You will have your eyes closed for the entire treatment and although it may feel a little strange being unable to open your eyes for this time, it offers you a chance to relax during the treatment.

Eyebrow Lamination FAQ:

FAQ:

Who can do this treatment?
Anyone with a moderate amount of natural brow hair, that’s interested in a fuller, fluffier look with no commitment and very minimal maintenance.

How do I care for my laminated brows afterwards?

First 24 hours: No hot water, steam, shampoos, makeup or skincare products within First 48 hours: Do not use makeup remover or oils. Comb/brush your brow hairs into place as needed. If redness or irritation worsens over the course of 24 hours, please contact your doctor about a potential reaction to the product, and then contact your artist to make them aware. After that first 48 hours, apply castor oil to the brows two nights per week and leave it on overnight. This will help to rehydrate the hair. Do not have permanent makeup done while your hair is still lifted. Do not apply henna to the brows for at least 6 weeks.

How frequently do I need to have them done?
You should expect your brows to lose their lift in 5-7 weeks. This highly depends on where your brow hairs are at in their shedding cycles at the time of lamination. Therefore, you may experience a longer lift from one session, and a shorter lift from the next, vice versa. It is not recommended to have your brows re-laminated sooner than 5-6 weeks.
